A WORLD MUSIC COLLABORATION YEARS IN THE MAKING, “THE SUM OF MY PARDON” IS HALFWAY TO COMPLETION

Marius Billgobenson known as Billy is a testament to how musical creativity cannot be held back if it has the support of the people around you, your contemporaries and lovers of music in general. An incredible journey is on it’s way to coming to fruition in this beautiful collection of amazing songs that will lift your spirit and stir your soul. “The Sum Of My Pardon” is slated to be a 12 song full-length album, of which 6 songs are completed… oh, but what songs they are! When you hear them, you will wish the other 6 were ready as well.

This magical compilation can truly be referred to as World Music because it’s creation has literally spanned the globe. From it’s humble beginnings in the Congo to it’s launching in Sweden to the connection with collaborators in the United States and back again, the trials, tribulations and travels have culminated in something that goes beyond all the musical elements and styles that went into it.

The wonders of modern technology have made the world a much smaller place, and for musicians like Billy, it has given them access to the best musicians, engineers and studio technicians in the world through the power of the Internet. Who would’ve thought you could create something this perfect sounding recording it online?

Billy is preparing to release his first full-length studio album with StudioPros upcoming months. To be called ‘The Sum of my Pardon,’ Billy has already released six songs with StudioPros. With the recent release of his 6th single, “Baye Baya” through StudioPros, he is halfway to his ultimate goal… the release of his first full-length album.

Billy was inspired to pursue his latest, “Baye Baya” from his life exploring the pygmy forest communities across the Congo River Basin. Billy seeks to fuse indigenous beliefs and customs with real experiences and memories he’s made in Africa and around the world.

“I intend to complete 12 songs in total by the time I release The Sum of my Pardon,” said Billy. “Anything is possible with the support, leadership, and expertise I get from collaborating with StudioPros. They work with me entirely online, and I owe my debut to them.”

StudioPros is a musical collaboration service based in Los Angeles, CA that works with people online to create and record musical projects from start to finish. In this case, they were working with someone a world away in Sweden, who in turn was a world away from his native Congo. It’s an awe-inspiring story, to say the least and an inspiration to musicians everywhere.

With tracks in multiple languages including English, you would think some songs would be hard to comprehend, but the musical story transcends the lyrics beautifully. “The Sum Of My Pardon” is filled with so much emotion and passion that it takes you away on a wave of understanding and self-awareness that will open your mind to new possibilities. It crosses over many genres, from Jazz to R&B to World Music to Blues and beyond.

The sound quality and the perfection of the performances by the superb studio musicians at StudioPros are evidence that they took their sweet time getting these performances and recordings right before ever letting them see the light of day. The tracks are polished and smooth like river rocks from a fresh water stream.

This kind of perfection takes time, however and there are still 6 more to go but good things come to those who wait, as they say.

Billy knows that halfway done is a long way from being done, but the first half has turned out to sound so incredible that he knows the interminable wait will be totally worth it when “The Sum Of My Pardon” is finally finished and released to the public. Until then, you can listen to “Baye Baya” on Billy’s featured artist page here: http://studiopros.com/featured-artist-marius-billy/
